after eight months of writing and reading

Eight months ago, the first post appeared on the 8ismeerdan1000 platform, and a few dozen have followed so far. A modest number of loyal readers found their way to this growing collection of sketches based on the Book of Change. In the new year, I will make more publicity about the platform.
Parallel to the stories on 8ismeerdan1000.com, I started tree-time.nl. Here I post articles on chi kung. There is material for many more articles and I hope they will follow with regularity in the new year.
If you subscribe to either platform, you will automatically get a notification about it in your mailbox every time a post appears. Non-paying subscribers can access most of the posts. However, some posts can only be accessed by paying subscribers.
The 8ismeerdan1000.com and the tree-time.co.uk platform run under Substack. When you pay for a subscription, Substack keeps 10% of that for their service rendered. The rest of the amount benefits the writing project itself.
Good to know: when you make a paid subscription to 8ismeerdan1000.com, you automatically get full access to tree-time.nl. Vice versa!
A new post is readable in the email you get as an announcement of it. However, reading it in the website via your browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Brave, etc) gives more context. You will find all previous posts, introductory articles and notes.
I regularly put short texts, additions, clips or interesting links in notes.
As subscribers, you will not receive an e-mail notification about this. You will find notes in the menu bar when you visit the platform's website via your browser. Or in the menu bar of the Substack app when you use that for reading.
At the bottom of each post you will find the option to share a comment. You can also: ask a question about the content of the post, make a request for a future post or share an idea or addition here. Comments are very welcome.
